Ubisoft said it opted for the early-access model to help do "technical testing" ahead of the 1.0 launch in August.

The game supports cross-saves and cross-progression between the PC and mobile editions. Resurgence features the franchise's PvPvE open-world Dark Zone area, while there is also a PvE campaign that Ubisoft says sheds more light on the events surrounding The Division 1 and 2.
