New Uwe Boll Zombie Movie Riffs On House Of The Dead And 28 Years Later

De acordo com informacoes, The infamous director behind several video game movies like Postal and Far Cry, Boll has begun production on 23 Years Later: The Castle of the Dead, a spiritual successor to his 2003 adaptation of Sega's House of the Dead. The title for the movie is also suspiciously similar to the two 28 Years Later movies that were recently released. Despite the crowdfunding push for the movie failing--no funds were collected from the whopping 39 backers who initially pledged $14,000 to the project--filming will kick off on September 5 in Germany.

Jonathan Cherry and Ona Grauer, who starred in the original House of the Dead, are back for this project and Boll has teamed up with his longtime producer Michael Roesch to bring it to life. Plot details are being kept under wraps, but Roesch said to THR that the film will be an upgrade when compared to House of the Dead, which was mostly set inside of a derelict home that was besieged by zombies.
